Find Me Something Fabulous: An Outdoor Chair

When a client says,  “Find me something fabulous,”  I am all too happy to oblige.  So, from time to time, I’ll use my blog to share some of the unique and ingenious items I come across.

These days, it seems every furniture store is featuring funishings for indoor/outdoor living.  Bringing good design to a patio or terrace is just as important as bringing it to any indoor space and provides continuity to a home.

Here’s a chair I found that has “outdoors” literally written all over it and is great design to boot. It’s the Forest armchair from JANUS et Cie.

Made of powder coated aluminum, the chair’s latticework evokes its name:  a forest of light and shadow created through an abstract rendering of the branches of trees.  It’s modern but organic form is perfect indoors or out. Comfortable and durable, it comes in multiple colors, too.

Something fabulous?  Check.
