Mitchell Channon Design Wins Top Design Honor

We LOVE our residential design project, “An Adventurous Home,” so we couldn’t be more pleased to discover that quite a few others feel the same. Last night, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Illinois awarded this project their People’s Choice Award for design excellence, topping both residential and contract design projects submitted for their 2017 Design Excellence Awards. This is the first year for the People’s Choice Award, which recognizes the best design as determined by votes cast via social media.

The design for the Chicago home reflected the owners’ love for adventurous travel and the written word, so we created a progression of rooms that recreates the exotic experience of a day spent abroad.
